Directions to Texas State University

From Austin/Dallas/Waco and the I-35 Corridor North

Follow I-35 South to San Marcos, take exit No. 206. Stay on the access road. Merge right onto Aquarena Springs Drive/Loop 82. You will pass a few traffic lights and drive on a bridge which goes over the railroad tracks. After the bridge, you will pass another traffic light and drive over the San Marcos River. At the next light turn right onto Sessom Drive. At the second stop light, turn left onto North LBJ Drive. The Music Building is the first building on your left. There is a three-level parking garage directly in front of the Music Building. Visitor parking is located on the third floor.

From San Antonio/Corpus Christi/Laredo and I-35 Corridor South

Follow I-35 North to San Marcos, take Exit No. 206 (Aquarena Springs Drive/Loop 82). Turn left on Aquarena Springs Drive/Loop 82 going under I-35 toward the University. You will pass a few traffic lights and drive on a bridge which goes over the railroad tracks. After the bridge, you will pass another traffic light and drive over the San Marcos River. At the next light turn right onto Sessom Drive. At the second stop light, turn left onto North LBJ Drive. The Music Building is the first building on your left. There is a three-level parking garage directly in front of the Music Building. Visitor parking is located on the third floor.

From Houston/Galveston/Beaumont and I-10 Corridor East

Driving west on I-10, exit onto Hwy. 123 North. Stay on Hwy. 123 to San Marcos (approximately 22 miles). At I-35 turn right and go north on I-35 to Exit No. 206 (Aquarena Springs Drive/Loop 82). Turn Left on Aquarena Springs Drive/Loop 82 going under I-35 toward the University. You will pass a few traffic lights and drive on a bridge which goes over the railroad tracks. After the bridge, you will pass another traffic light and drive over the San Marcos River. At the next light turn right onto Sessom Drive. At the second stop light, turn left onto North LBJ Drive. From El Paso/San Angelo/Midland and I-10 Corridor West

Travel East to I-35 and follow the directions from either I-35 North or South.
