Camper Schedule

Your days will be full of music making and fun at TSUSC! Our camp counselors will be on hand all week to mentor, supervise and assist students during classes, meals, evening activities and at the residence halls.

 

Daily Schedule

Each day campers will be involved in large ensemble rehearsals, sectional rehearsals and group lessons. The sectional rehearsal will involve the students in groups of reduced size receiving individual instruction on their ensemble music. The group lessons will be taught by the Texas State School of Music faculty and camp staff. These smaller group lessons will be divided according to the ability level of the students.

 

Daily Recreation

Daily recreational activities balance the musical and educational experiences of the camp. Each student will have the opportunity to enjoy supervised swimming and other entertaining and musically engaging activities. Each student’s well-being at camp is our primary concern.

9:25 a.m.                Orchestra Rehearsal

11:00 a.m.              Chamber Music

12:00 – 1:20 p.m.  Lunch

1:25 – 3:00 p.m.    Orchestra Rehearsal

3:15 – 5:30 p.m.    Elective/All-State Clinic/Individual Practice

5:30 p.m.                Dinner

6:30 p.m.                Evening concerts/activities
